Like Father, Like Son!

Posted by Cecile at Monday, June 18, 2012 0 comments
My son's first hero is indeed his father. As you an see in these photos, he likes to do what his Dad is doing. He follows him wherever he goes, whatever he does. He looks forward when Daddy gets home from work. When Daddy is our of his sight, he would go looking for him (in the garage, yard, even in the bathroom, lol.

Shooting BB gun.
Reading fave books.
Swimming together.

He even watches Dad's fave tv shows ( Star Trek Enterprise and The Andy Griffith show). He is indeed his father's son :-).

Playing With Snow

Posted by Cecile at Friday, February 04, 2011 4 comments
Here we are playing with the snow. Jacob wanted to make a snowman but the snow doesn't stick together and so what we did was play a snowball fight, and walked around the neighborhood. Good thing the temperature has gone up a little bit. I even saw the sun setting while sitting in front of my computer. Hubby took these pictures in front of our house.

...just me posing for a remembrance :-).
More snow...
Talking with our neighbor, Jim who was shoveling snow.
Back of our house where we first played before going on the front yard.
Jake and I strikes a pose :-).
Hubby trying to make a snowman for Jake, but to no avail :-(.
My little guy making a snow angel.
Me again...it is so seldom that I get into the pictures for I always end up being the photographer :-)!

Washing the Car with Daddy!

Posted by Cecile at Tuesday, January 18, 2011 0 comments
Back in the old house where we used to live, I had fun washing our cars. It saved us money and they are so clean! I like washing cars for it gives me something to do and get busy with. It's been awhile since I last washed our car and for whatever reason, I don't feel like doing it anymore. Good thing my hubby doesn't ask me to do the washing; now that Jacob is six he helps Daddy wash our car and is having fun.

Here's the snapshots I took when they were washing the van before heading to New Mexico for Christmas wit my in-laws. It was a little bit chilly that time and all I did was dried it afterward :-). Don't you love having a little happy helper home? I do!
