Mommy Moments: Moments with Daddy

Posted by Cecile at Friday, June 18, 2010 11 comments
Father's day is just around the corner, in conjunction with it, here is another entry for Mommy Moments about the Fathers. Here is my share for this week. I am so lucky to have a husband who spends time with my son no matter how busy he is. He always makes sure that we don't stay at home doing nothing, so every time he is off from work, he never fails to take us out. We all go anywhere we want and do something we all enjoy and have fun with.

Some of these are taken back when Jake was still little....
they love hanging out together; my son indeed is a Daddy's Little Boy...
with Daddy trying his first cotton candy...
before going to church....
during one of our visits in a state park....
and last but not the least...taking his son to school after a long night at work.

Mommy Moments: My Fave Foods

Sometimes, Jake is weird when it comes to foods; imagine he wants an ice cream for dinner or a cake? Yup, but did I give in? No! I just say to him that he can have either of them after he eats the food on his plate. Well, anyway, aside from eating Pinoy foods and fried rice, here are my son's fave foods...ravioli, chicken nuggets, fish sticks...

an ice cream for dessert,

spaghetti, any style, he doesn't care...Pinoy style or not!

A bowl of cereal...his snack after school...

or if he did a good job at school like: he didn't pull a stick coupled with yellow notes... a cheeseburger at McDo....

cake without icing; he loves cupcakes....

and pizza!

This was Jacob's first bath after he was discharged from the hospital. And Dad was giving him a bath instead of me because I was scared. He was tiny still and I thought I couldn't handle it; he was too fragile to me :-(.

Then, when he can sit on his own already, we gave him a bath on the kitchen sink, and he loves it.Finally, he has his bath in the bathroom with his own bath tub.
Then, in the bath tub. Now he takes a shower...of course with our help!
