tour of Patrick Henry's house...

We went to see/tour Patrick Henry's house in Scotchtown, Virginia. It was pretty neat seeing his house and some of the original furnitures he owns and the layout of the whole house and everything. Behind us was his house.


Remember his famous line during the revolution? "Give me liberty or give me death", that was Patrick Henry!

This is the back of Thomas Jefferson's house. We couldn't take a pictures of the front because it was too busy in there and very crowded.

Behind his house is a pond where they put the fishes they caught outside, till the fishes are ready to be prepared, cooked and then eaten :-)

This is the kitchen which is separated from the house; where the foods/meals were cooked and prepared.


Thomas Jefferson's cooks room. This is where the cook and his/her family of ten stayed; Isn't it small? They do a lot of things here as family after the day is over. They played games, mended and sew clothes, sleep, eat and everything.
