And the Building of Our House Begins....

My husband and I are very excited for the building of our new house. After more than a month of waiting, finally they started building it last week! We were eager to see what took place when we went there last weekend, and found out the they already leveled up the ground and started putting electric power to aid with the whole building process. What a relief! For a while there, we were worried that the house will not be finished in time to avail the tax credit for "first time home buyer." In fact, when we talked with the contractor Friday of last week, he told us that they are already two days behind the time frame they planned to finish building. But he assured us that before the end of June, the house will be done! Anyway, just want to share the progress on the building of our simple dream house.

The ground is leveled up....and the electrical box is already placed ready to be used.

One week later,....it is ready for foundation...and concrete was supposed to be poured, but because of the weather....the contractor decided to do it on Monday which is tomorrow.
