The most unforgettable summer we had so far was back in Virginia before we moved back to Texas. Here are the pictures when we went to Virginia Beach for three days and two days in Outer Bank North Carolina. We had so much fun because that was an advanced birthday celebration for me :-). It was memorable, too because we get to see my BIL and his family before we left VA, as well as attend Jake's last activity at school....now we are back to TX where there is no beach nearby.

I've been to VA too,twice,but I already forgot the exact name of the place. We used to visit a friend's in-laws.
I think one of the adventures my kids haven't been to is on a ship! Thanks for the idea mommy ...your son and the whole fam looked you enjoy it there. Happy weekend!

Kids really have so much fun at the beach. It's sad that you don't have a beach nearby in your new place, but I'm sure Jake will find new things to enjoy in Texas.
taking a boat ride or a ferry is one exciting trip.. never pa na-experience ng mga kids.. maybe later or next next summer.. happy weekend.
