Mother's day out and swimming lessons...

Yesterday, we went to a nearby lake near our place; brought our picnic chairs and Jake's fishing pole. He likes to fish and swim, the weird thing is that once we got there, he didn't even want to go down the water. He wanted his Dad to carry him! He cried everytime we tried putting him to the water. It was good because we were the only people there and it was so quiet and cool. Anyway, after half an hour of not wanting to touch the water, he decided he wanted to go look and catch little fish swimming infront of him. Well, he did play and then it was time to go home, he didn't want to leave the place; oh my it was making us crazy! That night he was dreaming while I was at the computer blogging. He was saying about floating and swimming. My poor little guy. It seems like the swimming lessons he attended to for three weeks didn't do him any good. Man, what a waste of money! The school didn't do any good either, instead it messed up his reading and counting ability a bit behind because he has forgotten his ABC"s and 123. From then on, we learned to investigate daycare carefully so as not experience that again in case he needs after school later when he is a little bit older while we are at work.
