When I was a little girl, I used to believe on fortune teller. One time my mother's friend came to visit her; while waiting for my mother in the living room, she asked if I want my palm to be read by her and I said "yes" and so she started reading. After reading she told me that I am going to marry an old man and we would have lots of children. So I hold on to that to see if it is really going to happen till I became a young woman. Fortunately, that didn't happen. I never got into any relationship with an old man in my entire single life, thank goodness! So I stopped believing with fortune tellers since (not that I want to marry old man) I am glad I didn't. I am now happily married with my husband who is only 2 years older than me :-) and blessed with an active but smart son (that's what his teacher told us during the Parents and Teachers Conference) :-). my son's teacher told us he is smart because he exceeded the goal they set with regards to his reading ability. we were happy for that :-), hope he will continue to do that.
